Description: I had suffered a stroke at 15 years of age. As a result I am quadriplegic and speech impaired. I am now 39 years old. With the use of a mouth-stick I typed one letter at a time until the book was completed.

Faced with a future living as a Quadriplegic I refused to give up. Instead I fought back for all the independence I could achieve. Through my book the reader gets to enter my world.

My goal in writing this book is to make people realize that life is precious and should not take it for granted, because it can change in seconds. I would also like to educate people to prevent a stroke. If it is too late, I hope to help others cope with daily circumstances as a result of a stroke, as physically devastating than mine. Life goes on.

Do not be discouraged by disappointments or difficulties of life. We must believe in our dream, to have passion and above all, devote the necessary effort and perseverance. Sometimes it seems as though love can move mountains; but I can assure you that determination and hope can also move those same mountains. If you've suffered a debilitating stroke, even though your life has changed, it is far from over. The key is to never give up hope.
